Instants which you use any time to make a creature more powerful or do damage to something. Planes walkers which are kind of like creatures except they do different things to attack and defend. Artifacts which ether equip on to creatures or stay on the battle field and be like a enchantment. Enchantments which stay on the battle field and always give off a special power. And finally sorceries which are instants that you play only on your turn. Otherwise Magic The Gathering is a great way to meet new people and play a short fun game.
