Magic the Gathering types of decks

Updated: Jan 24, 2019

In magic the gathering there is many different deck types. So many in fact I probably can't name them all. But here is a few with there advantages. The standard deck which is one color and consists of about 70 cards and does not have a advantage or disadvantage. The late game deck which is designed to hold the opponent off long enough to play out powerful stuff that costs more and uses mana ramp cards to get more mana. This deck is strong agents nothing but in the later games can beat most decks in a battle but has a huge weakness agents early game decks and swarm decks. The early game deck is made to wipe out the opponent in the early game and only has cheap cards. This deck is very powerful agents late game decks and weak if they fail to kill the opponent before turn 5. The control deck is made to counter all of the opponents cards and then play down a finisher. The control deck is very weak agents early game decks and swarm decks. The burn deck is a deck that has very few mana and plays down weak cheap creatures and spells that hurts the opponents creatures and the opponent itself. This deck has the same advantages and weaknesses. The swarm deck puts down a lot of cheap creatures and creatures that spawn more creatures to overwhelm the opponent. This deck is powerful agents late game decks and are bad agents cards that hurt all creatures on the battle field. The Mill deck is a deck that focuses on reducing the opponents decks to nothing so they lose the game. This deck doesn't have much creatures but is very heavy in artifacts and enchantments. This deck is weak agents early game deaks but is strong agents every other type of deck. The artifact deck is a deck which puts out a bunch of artifacts that build off of each other. This deck has no advantages of disadvantages. These are a few decks that you can try out.
